Fun always shows up when you least expect it.
I am dead tired now, but I had a great time last night.

And now, the weadding.

To make a short story long....
When I first moved to Vancouver, I started going to King George Secondary, and there I met a whole bunch of Yugoslavians. Almost all of them were Serbian or Bosnian Serbs. After a while I became really close with a few of them and we remained good friends till today. One of the girls, Jelena got married today in an Orthodox christian church to a Yugoslavian guy. The weadding was absolutely hilarious.
We got together infront of their building. There were a bunch of decorated cars parked and a limo. There was a guy standing with a huge Serbian flag, waving it. One of the guys had a 2 litre plastic bottle with clear liquid in it and was passing it around forcing people to take a sip. Some kind of a herbal home made liquor was in it. Liquid hell. More people were showing up as the time was passing and everyone was dressed in colourful clothing dated about 1988. One of the very tall skinny guys was wearing a bright pink suit, an even brighter pink shirt underneath with a white tie and long, slim white shoes. Traditional Serbian trumpet music was blasting from one of the cars as everyone started loudly singing along. At that moment I had realized how much influence Gypsies had on Yugoslavian culture. Everything from honking horns while driving to the church, constant quarreling, dancing on tables, breaking bottles to drinking till you don't look human anymore makes these weaddings seem like circus.

That sounds like a fun wedding! Way more appropriate than the stuffy uptight traditional boring ass weddings I've been to.

And I love the picture. That guy is holding a turkey, right?

I wish I had a turkey to call my own:-)
